Park Cleanup – Nov. 22, 2008

Great turnout for the park cleanup – despite the unseasonably cold weather.
Thanks to everyone who helped rake leaves, trim trees and plant bulbs.
A special thanks to the person who baked those wonderful maple-walnut scones. Yum!

VOTE “YES” on Charter Change Question #1 tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4th.

Mayor Nutter is urging voters to vote “Yes” to amend the Home Rule Charter to combine the Fairmount Park Commission and the Recreation Department into a single department.
